Matter certification reports
Every month we count the new Matter product models certified by the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA), from its public Distributed Compliance Ledger. The ledger, as we read it on October 19, 2026, holds 12,615 certified product models from 483 companies. The latest report covers September 2026: 174 new models.
The models themselves, with their CSA certificate IDs: new Matter devices this week (78 certified Oct 13-19, 2026, as of Oct 19, 2026), every model certified in September 2026, and the archive by month. New certifications feed (Atom).

Matter certifications report: September 2026
In September 2026, 174 new Matter product models were certified on the Connectivity Standards Alliance's Distributed Compliance Ledger, down 69% from August 2026. Lighting was the largest device group (74 models, 43%), and Espressif Systems certified the most new models (34). 13% of the new models list Thread and 89% list Wi-Fi, and 14 companies received a first Matter certification.

Source: CSA Distributed Compliance Ledger (on.dcl.csa-iot.org), read October 19, 2026. A model (one vendor ID and product ID) counts once, in the month of its first certification.
